The Lakeside East parcel can also be accessed from Route 624 at Long Level through the existing farm drive to the old Dritt farm.  A Native American Heritage Center, a Dritt Farm Museum and a Farm Education Center could all be housed in facilities that are located in parts of the park.
The portion along the Canadochly Creek is suitable for camping and hiking, and the existing power company lands along Route 624 provide direct access to the Susquehanna River, an existing picnic grove and activity areas.  The Lakeside East portion of the property contains a series of five or six high points along the hills above the river providing vistas and activity areas.
Our consultants have provided an example of the proposed park layout to demonstrate how the myriad of park resources along Route 624 in the area of Long Level and our Lakeside East parcel can be combined into a dramatic public facility.
