In developing the park, it is important to also provide for a vital and functioning Lauxmont Farms.  There are a number of essential farm assets which are vital to the continued viability of Lauxmont Farms.  We have identified the essential agricultural resources for the continued viability of our special farm.  These include:
  • The major barn complex.  This is the primary essential farm asset.  It is the center of the equestrian operation and the site for the majority of our special events.  We plan to reestablish a creamery business on this site.

  • The pastureland to the southeast of the barn, which constitutes a unique and essential habitat for the raising of champion horses.  The unique terrain and aquifer in this location play an essential role, much like the role of some of the pasture areas of the champion farms in Kentucky.  It has been our special secret.  Almost all of the seventy-eight stakes winners and five world champions we have produced were raised in these special paddocks and pastures.

  • The barns at Farms 3 and 10.  These are essential storage facilities for the operation of Lauxmont Farms.
