The plan prepared by our consultants includes as parkland the area of the farm known as Lakeside East and the power company's property between Lakeside East and the Susquehanna River, a portion of which is already park. It connects these parcels to the Hilltop with the Mason Dixon Trail and a Welcome Center on Route 624 at the location known by us as Farm 14. This central welcoming station provides a natural location between the Hilltop and the historic sites of Lakeside East with trail connections to all parts of the park.

The acquisition of an additional parcel or two connecting Farm 14 to the power company properties on the west side of Route 624 will provide a complete connection of all of the park assets. One can hike or drive to the overlook at the Hilltop utilizing the Mason Dixon Trail or Trinity Church Road. One can drive or walk from the Welcome Center to the more than 250 acres of park land to the south housing the Byrd Liebhart and Oscar Liebhart sites, the Dritt farmstead and the mill complex. A walking trail along the Klein's Run is provided through easement areas owned by the Kohr family. The Welcome Center at Farm 14 can be developed into a Susquehanna River Highland Center for the public.
