The original eighteenth century Dritt family farmstead, cemetery and colonial homestead.
The Pleasant Garden site, which was involved in Cresap's War between Maryland and Pennsylvania settlers, and which led to the Mason-Dixon Line and the Mason-Dixon Trail that runs through this area.
The Canadochly Creek, along the southern portion of the farm, which was the Conestoga Indian Trail and the Cannonball Run Trail in revolutionary times.

All of these have been mapped on the resource map prepared by our consultants. With the County having identified the Hilltop area as an important scenic resource, we have asked our consultants to prepare a proposal for a Susquehanna Riverlands park that incorporates the important resources of the southern portion of the farm and also maintains the viability and essential attributes of Lauxmont Farms as an agricultural resource. Unless both these goals are achieved, the project will only achieve one end at the cost of an equally important end.
